Krista L. Overfield, 51, of Austin, Indiana passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022 at her residence. She was born on November 17, 1970 in Evansville, Indiana, the daughter of David Overfield and Judy (Topper) Schatz. Krista graduated from FJ Reitz High School in Evansville, Indiana. She enjoyed writing, poetry, and spending time with her family. Krista was preceded in death by her father, David Overfield; and grandparents. Survivors include her daughter, Kaylynn Overfield of Scottsburg, Indiana; mother, Judy (Bruce) Schatz of Scottsburg, Indiana; sister, Kim (Troy) Boyd of Scottsburg, Indiana; two nephews, Zach (Kelsie) Boyd of Madison, Indiana, and Eli Boyd of Florence, Kentucky; great nephew: Hollis James Boyd; two aunts, Tammy (Roger) Brown of Pennsylvania, and Sandy Overfield of Pennsylvania.
