Larry Ray Adcock, 75, of Sellersburg, Indiana, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2020, at Lake Pointe Village in Scottsburg, Indiana. He was born on June 10, 1944, in Stuttgart, Arkansas, the son of the late R. C. Adcock and Alice (Dobson) Dunigan. Larry was a retired employee of the former Dover Elevator Company and also had worked at the old Chrysler Corporation both in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was a proud member of the International Union of Elevator Constructors Local 34, the National Rifle Association and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Rita F. (Isanogle) Adcock; two daughters, Lisa Morgan of Brownsburg, Indiana and Laura Adcock of Indianapolis, Indiana; a son, Larry E. Adcock of Indianapolis, Indiana; a stepdaughter, Emy Lorigan of Sellersburg, Indiana; three sisters, Mary Orange of Indianapolis, Indiana, Patricia Maldonado and Rayleen Lynch both of California and five grandchildren, Mallory Adcock, Wrigley, Maddux, Raley and Ryne Lorigan. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by a son, Larry Ray Adcock, Jr.; two sisters, Carol Dunigan and LaVonda Adcock and one brother, Ricky Adcock. Cremation services were entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. A celebration of life may be held with friends and family to be announced at a later date.
