Larry J. Bennett, 71, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022, at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg, Indiana. He was born on May 27, 1951, in Seymour, Indiana, the son of the late Charles A. Bennett and Myrtle Avannelle (McIntyre) Bennett. He was a member of the Scaffold Lick Baptist Church and of the American Legion Post #234 in Scottsburg, Indiana. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary and Arnold Bennett; one sister, Saundra Hall; and one niece, Lisa King. Survivors include nieces and nephews, David, Tammy, Timmy, and Rhonna, and sister-in-law, Patricia Bennett.
