Larry W. Gardner, 71, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on March 31, 1951, in Scottsburg, Indiana, the son of the late James Junior and Dorine Elizabeth (Brown) Gardner. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Scottsburg, Indiana. Larry always enjoyed woodworking, piddling in the garage, and collecting different coins. In addition to his parents and wife, Diane, Larry is preceded in death by one brother, Greg Gardner. Survivors include daughter, Kathy (Mario) Gardner of Louisville, Kentucky; son, Timmy (Peggy) Gardner of Louisville, Kentucky; three brothers, Rickey Gardner of Scottsburg, Indiana, Terry Gardner of Scottsburg, Indiana, and Ronnie (Becky) Gardner of Louisville, Kentucky; two sisters, Linda of Indiana and Diane of Florida; seven grandchildren, Michael, Sarah (Bryce), Steven, Allie, Skyler, Timmy, Jr., and Madison; two great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service: 11:00 am Friday, October 28, 2022, at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana with John Lowry & Oakley Barger officiating. Visitation: 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, October 27, 2022, and after 10:00 am Friday at Collins Funeral Home. Interment at Scottsburg Cemetery in Scottsburg, Indiana.
