Larry Joe Horn, 54, passed away on February 13, 2025, at his home in Lexington, Indiana with his family by his side. He was born on October 2, 1970, in Scottsburg, Indiana to the late Larry Cartwright and Rosemary (Reneau) Horn. He attended Scottsburg High School. Larry was a self-employed carpenter, specializing in Pole Barns. Those who knew him will remember his unwavering work ethic, and the pride he took in his craft. Beyond his dedication to work, Larry was a free spirit at heart, reveling in the thrill of life's adventures. He lived a full life and had a big heart. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, watching NASCAR racing, and sky diving. However, the greatest treasures in Larry's life were always the moments he spent with his beloved family and friends. He contributed to organizations such as the Amick-Baker- Kellems Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #156, Kids First, and supported the local 4-H kids. Larry is survived by brother and sisters, Tina McIntosh of Underwood, Indiana, Connie (Ed) Amick of Scottsburg, Indiana, Janice Horn of Scottsburg, Indiana, Loretta (Ken Garrett) Higdon of Scottsburg, Indiana, and Robert Horn of Underwood, Indiana, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Cremation was entrusted to Collins Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life to take place Sunday February 23, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.  Friends and family can visit from 11:00 am until the service at 1:00 pm.  As we reflect on Larry's adventurous life and the joy, he brought to so many, we are reminded that his spirit will live on in the laughter and love of those he cherished.
