Obituary

Larry M. Roth, 82, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. He was born September 17, 1938 in Scottsburg, Indiana, the son of the late Ernest M. Roth and Ida Florence (McKinney) Roth. Larry graduated from Scottsburg High School in the Class of 1957. He was a retired supervisor of quality control for Toyota in Walesboro, Indiana and had also held the same position for the old Reliance Electric Company, working at the Columbus and Madison, Indiana plants. Larry enjoyed woodworking, gardening and landscaping. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Karen A. (Nowling) Roth; a sons, Troy Roth and his wife Karen E. of Scottsburg, Indiana; two daughters, Karla Roth of Scottsburg, Indiana and Mariann Rogers and her husband Larry of Georgetown, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Kayla Jeffries Toler, Jamie Allen, Shelly Proctor and Korbin Roth and and five great grandchildren. Funeral Service: 1:00 pm on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Collins Funeral Home with Matt Craig officiating. Visitation: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Visitation and services will be open to the public as long as social distancing guidelines can be observed. Please follow the CDC's recommendations and guidelines while attending the services and face masks will be required due to the governor's executive mandate. Cremation is requested following the services with private burial at a later date in Scottsburg Cemetery.
