Lee Franklin Carroll-Douglas, 44, of Central, Indiana passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at Norton Hospital Brownsboro in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on February 3, 1978, in Huntington, West Virginia, to Sandra (Chalupa) Douglas and the late Willard Franklin Douglas. He was a member of Grassland Community Church. On April 28, 2001, he married Susan Carroll. Lee had a love for all animals and received an Associate's Degree in Zoo Animal Technology and then went on to receive a Bachelor's Degree in Science. He also enjoyed soccer and was a past board member of Southern Indiana United Soccer and Williston Youth Athletic Association in Florida. He was preceded in death by his father, Willard Franklin Douglas; grandparents, Phyllis and Ernest Chalupa; and great grandparents, Ada and Dewey Cline. Survivors include his loving wife of twenty-one years, Susan Carroll-Douglas of Central, Indiana; two sons, Nathaniel Carroll-Douglas and Gabriel Carroll-Douglas both of Central, Indiana; his mother, Sandra Chalupa Douglas of Lanesville, Indiana; two sisters, Lyn Douglas (James) Powers of Lanesville, Indiana and Susan Ruth (Chad Coffey) Douglas of Lexington, Kentucky; two uncles Stephen Chalupa of Grayson, Kentucky and David Chalupa of Ashland, Kentucky; one cousin Jeff Chalupa of Ashland, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; and Mother and Father in Law Pam and Tom Carroll of Duluth, Minnesota. Cremation has been entrusted to Collins Funeral Home.
