Linda F. Campbell, 73, of Austin, Indiana, passed away on Monday, March 15, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born on February 26, 1948 in Frozen Creek, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Roy and Hazel (Smith) Barrett. Linda was married on Dec. 24, 1964 to Ezra A. Campbell, who preceded her in death on Jan. 26, 2015. She was a retired head cook for the Scott County Jail in Scottsburg, Indiana and also had worked at the old Griffith's General Store in Blocher, Indiana. Linda was a member of the Solid Rock Church, liked to read, quilt and playing games on her phone. She also loved spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, Linda was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jennifer Nicole Stark and a brother, Bobby Barrett. Survivors include two daughters, Tina F. Stark of Commiskey, Indiana and Nina F. Reynolds (Billy) of Lexington, Indiana; a son, Evan A. Campbell (Angela) of Seymour, Indiana; a foster daughter, Tabitha Kelly (Donnie) of Springfield, Kentucky; nine grandchildren, Jessica Smith, Melinda Barrett (Nickie), Brenda Swafford, Tara Land (Joseph), Trent, Dustin and Tyler Campbell, Brad Poore (Rachelle) and Diana Poore and seventeen great grandchildren. Funeral Service: 7:00 pm on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Collins Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Shuler officiating. Visitation: 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Visitation and services will be open to the public as long as social distancing guidelines can be observed and will be limited to 50 people in the building. Please follow the CDC's recommendations and guidelines while attending the services and face masks will be required due to the governor's executive mandate.
