Linda Carol Densford, 70, of Jeffersonville passed away on January 31, 2025, in Clarksville, Indiana. She was born March 26, 1954 in Scottsburg Indiana to Floyd and Virginia Ann (Spellman) Campbell. She became a Licensed Practical Nurse in 1978 and worked until her retirement in 2010. She loved being a nurse and caring for others. As a devout catholic, Linda was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in New Albany. She was a wonderful Mom and Grandma who loved her family, feeding animals and giving to charities. Linda is survived by her children; Lauren (Andrew) Reynolds of Jeffersonville, William Ryan Densford of New Albany, her grandchildren; Gavin (Emilie) Griffee of Corydon, Tara Proffitt Haycraft of New Albany, William Reece Densford of New Albany and Elijah O'Neil of Pikes Peak, Colorado and great granddaughter, Amara Griffee of Corydon. She is also survived by her siblings, Teresa Campbell of Sellersburg, Indiana, Cindy (Frank) Bauerla of Memphis, Indiana, Eddie (Tina) Campbell of Georgetown, Indiana, Scott (Autumn) Campbell of Memphis, Indiana and Kim (Mike) Sandlin of Lanesville, Indiana. In addition, Linda is survived by former husband William Roger Densford of New Albany Indiana, with whom she shared an everlasting bond. Linda is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Joe Campbell. Friends may visit with Linda's family from 11:00 am until service time of 1:00 pm, Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at Collins Funeral Home, 465 W. McClain Avenue, Scottsburg, Indiana. Concluding services and interment will follow at Scottsburg Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made in Linda's name to any Catholic charity or animal related charity.
