Linda Sharon Hammill, 71, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023, at her home with her family by her side. She was born on January 6, 1952, in Louisville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late James Vincent and Dorothy (Lyons) Vincent. Linda was married to Grady Hammill, who passed away on November 15, 2015. She was a proud homemaker and mother. Linda was a member of the Elevation Church Scottsburg, Indiana and belonged to the Scott County Seniors Citizens group that meet at the Bacala Senior Center. She also enjoyed crafting in her spare time. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Grady. Survivors include son, James (Angela) Hammill of Robbinsdale, Minnesota; daughter, Lindsey (Michael) Bowers of Louisville, Kentucky; two sisters, Dorothy and Cheryl; seven grandchildren, Dallas, Brent, Bryonna, Allison, Jameson, Mackenzie, and Lily; and two great grandchildren.
