Loretta Browning, 79, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on May 27, 2025, at her home in Scottsburg, Indiana. She was born on March 29, 1946 in Scottsburg, Indiana, to the late Homer Boley and Lenore (Manthei) Boley-Alsup. Loretta married R.B. Browning, he passed on May 22, 1999. She is preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, John E. Alsup; husband, R.B. Browning; and sister, Arlene Johnson. Loretta is survived by her daughter, Beverley Browning; four sisters, Norma (Billy) Morris of Austin, Indiana, Marilyn (Monty) Atkins of Paoli, Indiana, Donna (Larry) Lafferty of Austin, Indiana, and Jeanette Holmes of Austin, Indiana. Private family services were held at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery in Scottsburg, Indiana.
