Mae Campbell, 84, previously of Deputy, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at Lake Pointe Village in Scottsburg, Indiana. She was born on July 13, 1940, in Butterfly, Kentucky, to the late Walter and Eva (Collins) Campbell. On September 25, 1959, Mae married the love of her life, Arthur "Art" Campbell, he passed away on May 28, 2020. In addition to her parents and husband, Art, Mae is preceded in death by three sisters, Berthea Campbell, Evalee Campbell, and Cloe Campbell; and three brothers, Damon, Adam, and Virgil Campbell. Mae is survived by two daughters, Jenny (Bryan) Richey of Scottsburg, Indiana and Wanda (Brian) Kirk of Bedford, Indiana; two sons, Arthur Lee "Archie" (Jess Richey) Campbell of Scottsburg, Indiana and Edward Ray (Mayra) Campbell of Clarksville, Tennessee; two brothers, Donald "Don" (Dorothy) Campbell of Salem, Indiana and Dewey Campbell of Lutz, Florida; nine grandchildren, Sarah Belding (Paul), Susan Carr (Brandon), Randy Richey (Kaitlyn), Logan Campbell (Sara) and Landon Campbell, Trent, Dustin and Tyler Campbell and fifteen great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Funeral service for Mae Campbell will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 6:00pm at Collins Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Shuler officiating. A private family graveside service will take place at a later date at the Collins Family Cemetery in Deputy, Indiana.
