Margaret "Margie" Jean Collins, born on March 6, 1942, in Scottsburg, IN, peacefully passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 83. A devoted homemaker, Margie found joy in her family and was known for her loving spirit and dedication to her loved ones.

She is survived by her husband, Boyd Collins; her sons, Donnie Collins and his wife Christina, Kenny Collins, and Dave Collins and his wife, Susan and her daughter, Beth Brewer and her husband Jason, her sisters, Kathryn "Kaye" Carr and her husband, Roger, Donna Garriott and her husband, Dewayne, and Carolyn Edds and her husband, Joe. Margaret cherished the time spent with her family, creating countless memories that will forever remain in their hearts. Her grandchildren, Kelli Collins, Josh Strange, Aaron Collins, Victoria and Kyle Daland, Tristan Collins, Braiden Collins and Megan Brewer will cherish the memories of time spent with her. She will also be missed by her great-grandchildren, Mia, Laney, Axel and Bryson.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Lee Cheatham and Elizabeth Louise Cheatham Avery, and two sisters, Dorothy Avery and Linda Humphrey.

A faithful member of Mt. Hebron Church of Christ, Margie enjoyed reading, traveling to Gatlinburg and Florida, antique shopping, and sewing. Her passions and interests reflected her vibrant personality, and she will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.

Friends may visit with the family on Monday, June 16, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and one hour prior the funeral service at 11:00 AM Tuesday June 17, 2025 at Collins Funeral Home, followed by her burial in Mount Eden Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in Margie's honor to Mt. Hebron Church of Christ.
