Marguerite J. Boley

Marguerite J. Boley, 79, of Underwood, Indiana passed away on Friday, October 23, 2026 at Hosparus Health Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on December 20, 1946 in Louisville, Kentucky beloved daughter of Raymond and Dorothy (Martin) Prinz, who both precede her in death. Marguerite graduated from Ahrens Trade School, in Louisville, Kentucky in 1964. She worked in bookkeeping at Ditto-Hayes in the Starks Building in Louisville, Kentucky in her early years. Marguerite moved to Indiana, when she married James A. Boley on November 3, 1972. She was a homemaker for awhile and was actively involved in her children's school activities. Later on Marguerite worked various jobs , including in the sales department at Holm Industries in Scottsburg, Indiana where she retired.She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, reading, working jigsaw puzzles, watching TV & movies. She also loved cooking and baking. Marguerite is survived by her husband of 53 years, james A. Boley of Underwood, Indiana; her daughter, Jennifer Cloud; her son, James M. Boley(Theresa Griffin), all of Scottsburg, Indiana; brother, Robert Prinz of Laconia, Indiana; grandson, James X. Boley of New Albany, Indiana.There will be a private graveside held on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at Scottsburg Cemetery.
