Marialane Ficht, 76, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on August 30, 1945, in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of the late Marco and Bertha (Milano) DiBenedetto. She was the church secretary and a member of the American Martyrs Catholic Church in Scottsburg, Indiana for thirty-four and a half years. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Marco DiBenedetto, Jr, Titta and Donald DiBenedetto; two sisters, Thomasina Randazzo and Ramona Zoruba. Survivors include her loving husband of fifty-four and a half years, William E. Ficht; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service: 2:00 pm Saturday, December 18, 2021, at American Martyrs Catholic Church in Scottsburg, Indiana with Father Don Buchanan officiating. Visitation: 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Friday, December 17, 2021, at Collins Funeral Home and 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday at American Martyrs Catholic Church.
