Marjorie L. Reed, 100, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Hampton Oaks Health Campus in Scottsburg, Indiana. She was born on March 22, 1921 in New Washington, Indiana, the daughter of the late Oscar and Della (Bonsett) Bussey. Marjorie graduated from New Washington High School in the class of 1939. On October 13, 1940 she married Edgar Reed, who passed away on October 31, 1994. She was a farmer's wife and a homemaker. Marjorie was a member of Zoah Christian Church and she was active in the Willing Healthy Workers Homemakers Club of Finley Township. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Forest and Kenneth Bussey; and one sister, Mary Bower. Survivors include her son, Jack Reed of Scottsburg, Indiana; two daughters, Barbara Drescher of Indianapolis, Indiana and Lisa (Greg) Jones of Seymour, Indiana; six grandchildren, Mike, Michelle, Danielle, Whitley, Matthew, and Tenley and six great grandchildren. Funeral Service: 11:00 am on Monday, June 14, 2021 at Zoah Christian Church in Scottsburg, Indiana with Rev. Paul Martin officiating. Visitation: 4:00 to 8:00 pm Sunday, June 13, 2021 at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana and after 10:00 am Monday, June 14, 2021 at Zoah Christian Church.
