Mark Bostic, 55, of Georgetown, Indiana passed away on November 17, 2024. He was born on November 22, 1968, in Decatur, Georgia, to the late Lester Bostic and Mary Ann (Bowling) Hill who survives. Mark graduated from Scottsburg Senior High School, midterm in 1987 and went on to earn his undergraduate degree from Indiana University Southeast. He then went on to finish his Graduate degree at University of Kentucky in 2007 where he was elected President of his PA class. Mark worked as a Primary Care Provider MSPAS, PA-C at Foundations Family Medicine in Henryville, Indiana. He touched countless lives through his dedication to medicine and compassion towards others. Mark was active with the American Diabetes Association and an avid UK fan. He also served as a Sergeant E5 in the United States Army for seven years and is a Veteran of both Desert Storm and Desert Shield. Mark was a beacon of joy, always found with a smile on his face and a warm embrace for those in need. His passion for the outdoors was unmistakable, where evenings of mowing, grilling, and nurturing his garden brought him immense joy and peace. A true entertainer at heart, he was the life of every gathering, where his exuberance and zeal for celebrating left lasting memories with all who knew him. In addition to his mother, Mary Ann, Mark is survived by his significant other, Patty Tucker of Georgetown, Indiana; one daughter, Krisann (Jonathan Howell) Bostic of Lexington, Indiana; one sister, Beth (Jeremy) Walton of Scottsburg, Indiana; one brother, Mike Bostic of Monticello, Georgia; one granddaughter, Harper Eves; two nephews, Gavin and Griffin Walton; and his beloved dog, Hitch. Mark is also survived by an extensive extended family whom he adored. They loved him and will miss him dearly. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 1:00pm at the First Christian Church in Scottsburg, Indiana. Visitation will be on Friday, November 22, 2024 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm and on Saturday prior to the service from 11:00am to 1:00pm at First Christian Church of Scottsburg. Burial will follow at Wolfe Cemetery, Georgetown, Indiana. Memorial donations can be made in Mark's name to American Diabetes Association in c/o Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
