Mark Nichols, 64, of Lexington, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at home with his family at his bedside. He was born on February 14, 1959 in Scottsburg, Indiana, the son of the late Alice F. (Boley) Nichols and Melvin Nichols, who survives. Mark graduated from Scottsburg High School in the class of 1977. On July 15, 1978 he married Glenda (Thomas) Nichols, who survives. He was a member of the Chelsea Church of God in Chelsea, Indiana. He was an employee of Madison Precision Products in Madison, Indiana. Mark loved being outside. He enjoyed riding side by sides, fishing for walleye, gardening, beekeeping and boating on Dale Hollow Lake. Mark also very much enjoyed motorcycles and was a past member of the Gold Wing Chapter out of Scottsburg. He and Glenda toured all but 11 states on the motorcycle. He was preceded in death by his mother, Alice. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Glenda, and father, Melvin, son Jason Nichols and wife, Vicky of Hanover, Indiana; daughter, Kristi Nichols, her significant other, Patrick Lynch and his children, Jensen Persinger and Jackson Lynch all of Madison, Indiana; brother, Terry Nichols and wife, Beverly of Columbus, Indiana , along with several nieces and nephews.
