Marvin Leo Arbuckle, 94, of Nabb, Indiana passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at his home. He was born on April 14, 1929 in Lexington, Indiana, to the late Forrester Arbuckle and Beulah (Hamblon) Arbuckle. Marvin proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the English Masonic Lodge #622 in Lexington, Indiana. Marvin was a farmer and prior to that he worked as a carpenter and a lineman. He enjoyed playing checkers, fishing, and riding horses. In 1952 he married Jewell (Hayes) Arbuckle, and she preceded him in death in 2016. In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by one son, Larry Gene Arbuckle; three brothers, Ivan Arbuckle, Forrest Arbuckle, and Lester Arbuckle; one sister, Betty Arbuckle; and two grandchildren Tina Pullen and Robert Arbuckle. He is survived by one son, Marvin Wayne Arbuckle of Lexington, Indiana; three daughters, Judy Ann Combs of Nabb, Indiana, Patty (Michael) Pullen of Lexington, Indiana, and DeAnna Tingle of Austin, Indiana; one brother, Maurice Arbuckle of Illinois; eight grandchildren, Karen Jenkins, Mark Tingle, Eric Tingle, Paul Tingle, Mark Newman, Lisa Morris, Ben Pullen, and Kristen Arbuckle; fourteen great grandchildren, Kayla, Haley, Ciara, Abby, Addy, Hunter, Shana, Dawson, Natalie, Mark, Kyle, Ashley, AJ, and Jeremia; three great-great grandchildren; and one great great-great grandchild. A Masonic service will be held at 12:00 followed by the funeral service on Monday, September 11, 2023 at Collins Funeral Home with Aaron Fluckey officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 11, 2023 at Collins Funeral Home from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm. Interment will be at Sharon Hill Cemetery in Lexington, Indiana.
