Mary R. Calhoun, 79, of London, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at Advent Health in Manchester, Kentucky. She was born on July 29, 1943 in Pineville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Carter and Ann Brown. Mary loved spending time with her family. On March 6, 1965 she married Douglas Calhoun, who survives. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Connely and Ronnie Brown; and sister, Joyce Brown. Survivors include her husband, Douglas Calhoun of London, Kentucky; three sons, David (Regina) Calhoun of North Vernon, Indiana, Scott Calhoun of London, Kentucky and Chris Calhoun of Madison, Indiana; one daughter, Nancy Calhoun of New Albany, Indiana; two sisters, Judy Brown Miller of Michigan and Lynn Brown Garren of North Carolina; eight grandchildren, Josh, Kacie, Jared, Christina, Douglas, Gunner, Justin, and Brian; and three great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at Collins Funeral Home with Pastor Leon Armstrong officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at Collins Funeral Home. Interment at Lexington Cemetery in Lexington, Indiana.
