Mary Lou Miller, 85, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at Hampton Oaks Health Campus. She was born on May 30, 1934 in Taylorsville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Austin and Corrine (Haycox) Hall. Mary Lou was married on Nov. 22, 1954 to the Rev. Gerald "Bud" Miller, who passed away on Feb. 14, 2011. She was a homemaker, a member of the Austin Wesleyan Church, a former member of the Plymouth Homemakers Club and a longtime volunteer at the Scott County Clearinghouse. Mary Lou loved to quilt, crochet and work puzzles. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Eveyln Hall and two brothers, Robert and Glen Hall. Survivors include two sons, Richard Miller and his wife Nila of Austin, Indiana and Jerry Miller of Bloomfield, Indiana; two sisters, Jo Ann Graham and Joyce Kiefer both of Scottsburg, Indiana; six brothers Austin and Mike Hall both of Scottsburg, Indiana, Rev. Gilbert Hall of Moberley, Missouri, Gary Hall of Muncie, Indiana, Don Hall of Uniontown, Indiana and Parvin Hall of Underwood, Indiana; four grandchildren, Alan Miller (Jammie), Nathan Miller (Heather), Elizabeth Buckel (John) and Kyla Chambers (Devin) and nine great grandchildren, Jonathan, Myca and Presley Buckel, Draven, Reese, Raelynn and Rylee Miller, Daniel and Byron Chambers.
