Matthew S. Campbell, 55, of Austin, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. He was born on June 6, 1968, in Seymour, Indiana, he was the son of the late Luther Dean Campbell and Nannie Jean (Cooper) Campbell-Davisson, who survives. Matthew graduated from Austin High School in the class of 1988. He then went on to join the Army National Guard. Matthew was a truck driver for Allstates World Cargo out of Louisville, Kentucky. He attended the First Christian Church in Scottsburg, Indiana. Matthew enjoyed going to the movie theater, riding his motorcycles, and boating. He especially enjoyed going out on Monroe Lake. He was preceded in death by his father, Luther Dean. Survivors include mother, Nannie Jean (Michael) Campbell-Davisson of Scott County, Indiana; daughter, Samantha (Michael) Hart of Salem, Indiana; son, Shannon Campbell of California; sister, Deana (Stephen) Schafer of Scottsburg, Indiana; his dog Bella; and his niece and nephew, Hailey and Christian Schafer. Funeral Service 1:00 pm Friday, September 15, 2023, at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana with Matthew Craig officiating.
