Michael Blanford, 46, passed away on September 10, 2024, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born on August 18, 1978, in Cloverdale, Indiana, to Lester Blanford and Karen Montgomery (Boller). He started his career as a supervisor and went on to work for Caterpillar for twenty years. Michael married Spring McClain in November of 1999 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Michael was best known for his skills around the pool table. He also enjoyed spending as much time as he could with his six grandchildren. Michael is survived by his wife, Spring McClain; father, Lester Blanford; mother, Karen Montgomery; four children, Bradley Lester, Heaven Matheny, Alissa Blanford, Michael Blandford Jr.; two brothers, Allen Blanford, and Lee Blanford, Jr.. The family has chosen cremation services to honor Michael's wishes, with arrangements entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
