Michael Wayne "Mike" Nowling, 52, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on October 26, 1970 in Seymour, Indiana, the son of the late Danny D. Nowling and Sharolyn (Hannon) Wernert, who survives. Mike lived in Pasco County, Florida for twenty years. He enjoyed going fishing, hunting and doing anything outdoors in his free time. Mike loved his truck, Harley-Davidson motorcycles and his beloved dogs, Tazzy, Corky, Scrapper and Jake. He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Chester "Chet" and Janie Hannon, Nelson and Irene Nowling; uncle, Dave Nowling. Survivors include is mother, Sharolyn Wernert; brother, Steve (Gail) Nowling of New Salisbury, Indiana; three aunts, Janet (Charlie) Duncan of Palmyra, Indiana, JoAnn First of Seymour, Indiana, April (Jim) Mobley of Jackson County, Indiana; two uncles, Lee (Sondra) Nowling and Rickey Nowling both of Jackson County, Indiana.
