Michael E. Richey, 67 of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023 at Clark Memorial Hospital Jeffersonville, Indiana. He was born on July 24, 1955 in Santa Monica, California to Billy Bob Richey and the late Doris Ann (Baumert) Richey. Michael was a master plumber for many years in California and upon moving to Indiana, he worked in several different roles ranging from Salesman, Sales Manager and Finance Manager within the automobile industry. Michael enjoyed singing karaoke, collecting NASCAR memorabilia, going to flea markets, collecting watches, playing slots and watching horse races. But most of all he loved spending time with his family. On February 8, 1986, he married Jeanie Lesnet in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was preceded in death by his mother. Michael is survived by his wife Jeanie Richey of Scottsburg, Indiana; two sons Michael (Christy) Richey of Scottsburg, Indiana; Josh (Amy) Napier of Scottsburg, Indiana; three children, Michelle, Billy, and Jenny Richey of California; his father: Billy Bob Richey of Los Angeles, California; two sisters Billie (Craig) Myers of Arizona; Jeanette Richey of Arizona; seven grandchildren, Autumn Richey, Landon Richey, Alyssa Hood, Bryson Hood, Hunter Bryson, Kady Bryson, and Emily Bryson.
