Nettie Eversole, 66, passed away on August 9, 2024, at Lake Pointe Village in Scottsburg, Indiana. She was born on September 20, 1957 in Scottsburg, Indiana, to the late Malcom Eversole Sr. and Golden (Roberts) Eversole. Nettie started working at Morgan Foods in Austin, Indiana when she was fourteen years old, she later went on to work for FKG Oil Company. Nettie was a kind-hearted soul who always welcomed others into her home with open arms. She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. Nettie was a lover of classic sitcoms and her favorite beverage, diet Mountain Dew. Nettie is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Jennifer Moody; and brother, Danny Eversole. She is survived by her son, Jesse Eversole; sister, Joan Eversole; brother, Malcom (Ann) Eversole, Jr; and four grandchildren, Trenton Boling, Benjamin White, Tyson Eversole, and Elijah Gay. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana with Pastor Glen Waldon officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service at the funeral home from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Interment to follow service at New Frankfort Cemetery in Austin, Indiana.
