Opal Lee Studer-Small, 94, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022, in Walla Walla, Washington. She was born on June 24, 1928, in Newport, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Willard Richardson and Ella Mae (Finney) Richardson. She was a homemaker who loved to read, was an avid bingo player, embroidered, and dance. Opal married Lester Charles Studer, who died on September 11, 1997, then she married Walter Small, who passed away in 2004. Survivors include two sons, Donald J. (Janet) Elkins of Walla Walla, Washington and Ronald S. Elkins of Westchester, Virginia; daughter, Diane Cramer of Lebanon, Ohio; five grandchildren Christopher and Nathan Louden, Shawn, Jamie and Jasmine Elkins; and two great grandchildren, Tristan and Christa Louden. Private Graveside Service was held 11:00 am Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Scottsburg Cemetery in Scottsburg, Indiana.
