Patrick Cozart, 31, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at his home. He was born on July 23, 1990, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, the son of Richard "Rick" Cozart and Patricia "Trish" (Nowlin) Cozart. Patrick was a member of the American Martyrs Catholic Church in Scottsburg, Indiana, and graduated from Scottsburg High School in 2009. He attended Western Kentucky University and was a member of the marching band. He was an avid wrestling fan, and he also loved UofL Cardinals and the Tennessee Titans. Patrick was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl and Judy Cozart; grandfather, Howard Nowlin; and his beloved brother, Daniel. In addition to his parents, his survivors include his beloved son and best friend, Grayson Tyler Cozart; his grandmother, Janice Nowlin of Scottsburg, Indiana; his cousin, who was like a sister, Chrissy Nowlin Keeling of Louisville, Kentucky; Grayson's mother, Samantha Cozart of Deputy, Indiana; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Funeral Service: 6:00 pm Friday, June 17, 2022, at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Visitation: 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm Friday at Collins Funeral Home. Cremation was entrusted to Collins Funeral Home with interment at later day in Scottsburg Cemetery in Scottsburg, Indiana.
