Patsy Lou Spurgeon, 82, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on January 27, 2025 with friends and family by her side. She was born on June 15, 1942, in Hazard, Kentucky, to the late Earnest and Roxie (Merrill) Campbell. Patsy graduated from Buckhorn High School in Buckhorn, Kentucky in 1960. She retired from the old Freudenberg Factory in Scottsburg, Indiana. In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by her four brothers, CB Campbell, Bill Campbell, Randy Campbell, and David Campbell; and one sister, Linda Turner. Patsy is survived by her daughter, Heather Spurgeon; son, Todd (Peggy) Eads; sister, Betty (James) Stewart; sister-in-law, Sondra Campbell; four grandchildren, Meade McNeely, Morgan McNeely, Brittney Eads, and Lance Eads; four great grandchildren, Xavier, Logan, Malik, and Gianni; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial service for Patsy will be on Friday, January 31, 2025 at 6:30pm at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Prior to the service, there will be visitation from 4:00pm to 6:30pm at the funeral home. Cremation was entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
