Patsy Carol (Stoner) Shouse, 82, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. She was born on October 23, 1939, in Bethlehem, Indiana, the daughter of the late Forest and Iona (Beech) Stoner. Patsy graduated from New Washington High School. She was retired from Internal Revenue Service working as a Diesel Compliance Officer. Patsy was a member of Canton Christian Church, and previously a member of the Red Hats Society. Patsy loved flowers, gardening, and watching the birds. She was preceded in death by parents, her late husband, Thomas Shouse; son, Gene Shouse; grandson, Calvin Todd Shouse; two brothers, Steve and Junior Stoner; and sister Charlotte Allen. Survivors include two sons, Rick (Patty) Shouse and Patrick Shouse of Scottsburg, Indiana; daughter, Janice Shouse of Pekin, Indiana; five grandchildren; Thomas, Heather, Adrienne, Paige, and Stephanie, four great grandchildren; Clair, Fin, Ainsley, and Hadlee. Funeral Service: 11:00 am Monday, December 27, 2021, at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana with Dan Mullins officiating. Visitation: 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm Sunday, December 26, 2021, and after 10:00 am Monday at Collins Funeral Home. Interment at Crown Hill Cemetery in New Washington, Indiana.
