Peggy Sue Reynolds

Peggy Sue Reynolds, 69, of Charlestown, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her home on January 13, 2026.

She was born on December 25, 1956, in Hazard, Kentucky, the daughter of Drury and Herma Reynolds.

Peggy devoted her life to caring for others. She was a loving caregiver and homemaker to her family, always putting their needs first. In earlier years, she worked as a waitress at Best Western, where she was well known for her friendly smile and genuine love for her customers.

Peggy was Christian by faith and cherished attending church. She was a fantastic cook who took great pride in preparing meals for those she loved. In her free time, she enjoyed a good game of BINGO and, above all, spending time with her family. Peggy was deeply family-oriented and found her greatest joy in being surrounded by those she loved.

She will be remembered for her kind heart, strong faith, and the love she freely gave to everyone who knew her.In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her step son, Devrese Vancliff; sisters, Mildred "Millie" Reynolds, Goldie Reynolds. She is survived by her daughter, Shade' Vancliff(Aaron); son Gabriel Land; step children, Natassjia Sheffey, Rosetta Vancliff, Michael Smith, Allen Vancliff, Marquise, Devrese and Vincent Vancliff; sisters, Dora Reynolds Snelling, Edna Cane(Toni), Betty Reynolds Fleenor, Lola Reynolds; brothers, Cantrell, Clifford and Steven Reynolds; grandchildren, Gabrielle Land, Kaydence land, Kayla V, Jonathon V, Christopher S, Taylor B, Makaela Jackson, Ryder Hunter, Ryver Hunter, Aarloh Shirley.There will be a visitation held on Monday, January 19, 2026 from 11-2pm with service to follow at Collins Funeral Home. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.
