Obituary

Randall Gene Yundt, 70, passed away on November 14, 2024, in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

He was born in Corydon, Indiana on May 18, 1954. He served three tours of duty in Vietnam in the US Air Force and then later joined the US Army and served during peace time. He retired from Fort Knox Hospital where he worked in administration. He was a weather spotter for the National Weather Channel, but his greatest enjoyment came with driving the Scholastic Book Fair truck with Clifford the Big Red Dog on it. He also drove a school bus for the Scott County School District 2. He loved bassett hounds and his two favorites, Emmie and Annie preceded him in death. He also loved his pitbull, Henry and his two cats, Molly and Chico. Randy is survived by daughters, Cameron Yundt (Todd Richey), Heather Clive (Michael), sisters; Dodie Bauermeister and Claudia Yundt (Chip Meek), grandchildren; Owen and Lillian Clive, Tessa, Jarrett and Dawson Richey as well as great-grandson, Layton Ulerick. Cremation has been entrusted Collins Funeral Home, 465 W. McClain Avenue, Scottsburg, Indiana 47170. Please share memories and condolences at www.collinsfuneralhome.net.
