Raymond Allen Richie, Sr., 58, of Austin, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at his residence. He was born on August 14, 1961 in Scottsburg, Indiana. Raymond was a shipping supervisor for Morgan Foods in Austin, Indiana, where he worked for over 40 years and was a Captain for the Austin Reserve Police, serving his community for over 25 years. He was a member of the Calvary Temple Church in Austin, Indiana and an Associate Member of the Amick-Baker-Kellams F.O.P Lodge # 156. Raymond enjoyed reading, shooting guns and riding his motorcycle in his spare time. He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Richie. Survivors include two sons, Raymond A. Richie, Jr. of Austin, Indiana and Michael P. Richie and his wife Jamie of Underwood, Indiana; two daughters, Stephanie Richie and her husband Allen Drury of Henryville, Indiana and Diane Richie of Austin, Indiana; his mother, Peggy Richie of Austin, Indiana; three sisters, Diane Soto and her husband Eric and Linda Spicer and her husband Don all of Austin, Indiana and Carla Keibler and her husband Jim of Memphis, Indiana; his brother, David Richie and his wife Vicki of Austin, Indiana and seven grandchildren, Abbi, Ashley, Chloe, Blake, Raevn, Xander and Jordan. Funeral Service: 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at Collins Funeral Home with Bishop Sonny Fugate officiating. Visitation: 4 to 8 pm on Tuesday and after 9 am on Wednesday at Collins Funeral Home. Interment will be in Harrod Cemetery near Austin, Indiana.
