Rebecca Ann Boyd, 71, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on July 23, 1951, in Seymour, Indiana, the daughter of the late Noble Eugene Myers Sr. and Gladdys (Righthouse) Myers. She was a retired employee of the old GTE Phone Company in Scottsburg, Indiana, that became what is now known as Verizon Wireless. Rebecca was a long-time member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Scottsburg, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include son, Jeremy (Carmen) Boyd of Scottsburg, Indiana; sister, Donna Myers of Scottsburg, Indiana; two brothers, Jerry (Bonnie) Myers of Scottsburg, Indiana and Noble Eugene (Carolyn) Myers, Jr. of Austin, Indiana; and one granddaughter, Samantha Boyd. Funeral Service: 2:00 pm Friday, April 7, 2023, at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana with Pastor Joseph Quiles officiating. Visitation: 12:00 Noon to 2:00 pm Friday.
