Rebecca Sue “Becky” Smith

Rebecca Sue "Becky" Smith, 58, of Crothersville, Indiana, who passed away on April 5, 2026 at Norton Scott Hospital in Scottsburg, Indiana. She was born on February 20, 1968, in Scottsburg, Indiana, to the late Robert Mills and Mariellen (Griffin) Mills. Becky was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother. She dedicated over 20 years of her professional life to Walmart Superstore in Scottsburg, Indiana, leaving a lasting impression on her coworkers and customers alike. On June 25, 2014 she married the love of her life, Randall Smith, and he survives. Becky enjoyed camping and cherished being outdoors. She was also an amazing cook, often transforming Thanksgiving and Christmas into grand family events filled with love and laughter. Her home was a gathering place for family, where her culinary talents shone and memories were made. Becky is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Ida Katerine "Kathy" Graw. In addition to her loving husband, Randy, Becky is survived by one son, Jeremy Owens; three daughters, Stephanie (Derek) Snelling, Tara (Jason) Zwingelberg, and Natalie (Joshua) Dy; siblings, Timothy (Beth Ann) Mills, Edward (Joni) Mills, Denis Mills, Edward (Joni) Mills, Mary "Christy" Carey, Michelle Mills, and Jamie Murdock; and her beloved grandchildren, Abagail Owens, Zoe Owens, Casandra Williams, Sophia Snelling, Alyana Snelling, Cora Zwingelberg, and Ian Zwingelberg, who brought her immense joy. The funeral service will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026 at 3:00pm at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Visitation will be prior to the funeral on Friday, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Collins Funeral Home.
