Rhonda K. Marcum, 65, of Scottsburg, Indiana, formerly of Washington County, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Scott Memorial Hospital. She was born on January 6, 1955 in Louisville, Kentucky. Rhonda graduated from Stuart High School in Louisville, Kentucky and then earned a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Indiana University Southeast. She was a retired registered nurse for Mitchell Manor Nursing Home, also had worked for Hosparus and attended the Turning Point Church of Scottsburg. Rhonda enjoyed reading and doing puzzles. Some of her favorite things were cooking, going shopping and especially spending time with her granddaughters. Rhonda was preceded in death by her mother, Lillian Denzik. Survivors include a daughter, Kim Brown and her husband Eric of Scottsburg, Indiana; a son, Sean Beach and his wife Ashley of Louisville, Kentucky; her father, Joseph Denzik of Aiken, South Carolina; a brother, Steven Denzik of Aiken, South Carolina and five grandchildren.
