Robert Meyer "Bobby" Gladstein, 69, of Monrovia, Indiana formerly of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born on April 6, 1951 in Miami, Florida, the son of the late Lee Gladstein and Floral J. (Dean) Gladstein. Bobby graduated from Scottsburg High School and then attended the University of Alabama and Vincennes University. He was a retired health and safety director for Summitt Construction in Indianapolis, Indiana and also the former owner of the old Barncastle Construction Company in Scottsburg, Indiana. Bobby was raised in the Jewish faith, was a member of the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky and had owned several Corvettes during his life. Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Michelle (McClure) Gladstein; four sons, Josh (Christy) Gladstein of Crothersville, Indiana, Jarin Gladstein of Scottsburg, Indiana, Zac and Connor Gladstein both of Monrovia, Indiana; a brother, John Gladstein of Texas; one grandson, Brody Gladstein and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service: 2:00 pm on Monday, June 15, 2020 at Collins Funeral Home with Bill Quick officiating. Services may be viewed on Collins Funeral Home's Facebook page at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 15, 2020. Visitation: 12:30 to 2 pm on Monday at Collins Funeral Home. This will be open to the public and up to 25 visitors will be allowed in the funeral home at a time as long as social distancing guidelines can be observed. Please follow the CDC's recommendations and guidelines while attending the visitation and face coverings are encouraged. Interment will be in Scottsburg Cemetery.
