Rocky L. Simon, 65, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg, Indiana. He was born on December 10, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of the late Sarah (Netherton) Grater and Luther Harrison, who survives. Rocky graduated from Hickston High School. He was a proud employee of Amazon in Jeffersonville, Indiana. On July 27, 1995 he married Ann (Harp) Simon, who survives. Rocky enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and most importantly spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his mother. Survivors include his wife, Ann (Harp) Simon of Scottsburg, Indiana; his children, Brent Simon of Tennessee, Tabitha Simon of Tennessee, Brittney Thompson of Tennessee, Ashley Stacy of Scottsburg, Indiana, Amber (Ben) Wood of Lexington, Indiana, Richie Bowles of Jacksonville, Florida, and Wendy (Chris) Hicks of Lafayette, Indiana; his sister, Tammy Simon of Pekin, Indiana; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, November 18, 2022 at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, November 18, 2022 at Collins Funeral Home. Interment at Oak Hill Cemetery in Scottsburg, Indiana.
