Roderick Dale "Rod" Patton, 64, of Deputy, Indiana passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2020 , at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg, Indiana. He was born on March 20, 1955 in Scottsburg, Indiana, the son of the late Joseph Patton and Bessie (Jamison) Patton, who survives. Rod graduated from Scottsburg High School in 1974 and on Aug. 2, 2014 married Brenda (Cox) Patton. He was the owner and operator of City Auto Care in Scottsburg, Indiana for 28 years and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Patton and a son, Kevin Patton. Survivors include: his wife, Brenda (Cox) Patton of Seymour, Indiana; four daughters; Tumeka Patton of Jeffersonville, Indiana, Tara Boyer of Elkhart, Indiana, Tiffany Patton and Alisha Collins both of Sellersburg, Indiana; his mother, Bessie Patton of Scottsburg, Indiana; his brother Tim Patton of Scottsburg, Indiana; his sister,Tonja Patton of Scottsburg, Indiana, along with several grandchildren and two nephews. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at 1:30p.m. at Collins Funeral Home with Billy Joe Deaton officiating with visitation before from 11:30am to 1:30pm.
