Roland Collins, 90, passed away on May 25, 2025, at his home in Lexington, Indiana with his family by his side. He was born on April 26, 1935, in Vardy, Tennessee, to the late, Crodell Collins and Viola Mae (Gibson) Collins. Roland lived a life rich with experience, laughter, and a deep love for those around him. He dedicated many years to the construction industry, working at Morgan Foods, where he earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues. After retiring, Roland embraced his newfound freedom and made the most of every moment with his loving wife, Marilyn, and their two daughters, Teresa Kimmick and Kelly Frazee. His family was his pride and joy, and he treasured the time spent with them. Roland was a man of many passions, with a spirit that was as boundless as the open road. He had a profound love for travel, exploring both abroad and across the United States, creating lasting memories with family and friends. He had a love for NASCAR, and he found joy in the rhythms of country music, especially Loretta Lynn, and the lively spirit of bluegrass festivals. These were more than just hobbies for Roland; they were an expression of his love for life and connection to the people around him. Roland is preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Betty Collins and Annette Stiner.
