Ronald "Ron" Bruck, 78, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on March 29, 2022, at home with his family by his side. He was born on April 4, 1943, in Salem, Indiana, and was raised by his Uncle Harley Leon Bruck. He was a retired owner-operator truck driver for Landstar Systems, Inc. and worked for various other trucking companies throughout his career. In his spare time, Ron enjoyed farming and watching tractor pulls, horse pulls and westerns, especially ones that starred John Wayne. He was a member of the Little York Christian Church in Little York, Indiana. On September 14, 1991, he married Rebecca "Becky" (Haven) Bruck. In addition to his wife of 30 years, he is survived by two daughters, Renee Bruck of Scottsburg, Indiana, and Rhonda (Jeff) Medlock of Salem, Indiana; one son, David (Missy) Bruck of Scottsburg, Indiana; two grandsons, Jesse (Mandy) Bruck and Levi Medlock; one granddaughter, Terra (Nathan) Maudlin; one great-grandson, Lane Maudlin; three sisters, Joyce Rutan, Vivian McKnight, and Rosemary Jones; three brothers, Tommy Deal, Phillip Deal, and Mike Deal; mother-in-law, Ruth Haven; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his Uncle Harley; one sister, Jetta Hudgens; one brother, Roger Bruck; and father-in-law, Kenneth Haven. Funeral Service: 11 a.m., Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Collins Funeral Home with Minister Mike Wall officiating. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, April 1, 2022, and after 9 a.m. Saturday at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Interment at Little York Cemetery in Little York, Indiana.
