Roy Wayne Breedlove

Roy Wayne Breedlove, 66, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on June 21, 2026, at Norton Scott Hospital. He was born on March 21, 1960, in Scottsburg, Indiana, Roy was the beloved son of Charles and Martha Ann Breedlove. Roy was a family man who treasured spending time with those he loved most. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and the simple pleasures of being outdoors. His kindness, friendship, and love for family will be remembered by all who knew him. Roy was a proud member of the Sons of the American Legion Post #234, where he enjoyed the fellowship and camaraderie of fellow members. In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by his brother, Elson Breedlove; sister, Kathy Cope; nephew, Lee Smith; great nephew, Levi Pangburn. He is survived by his son, Charles Breedlove (Elizabeth); two sisters; Susan Butler(Dan), Virginia Harbold(Jimmy); brother, Michael Castillo(Kelly); six grandchildren, Dakotah, Abram, Lilly, Ezme, Arlie, and Ford Breedlove; along with nieces and nephews, Chris Pangburn(Dana), Tonya Albertson(Kelley), Marcus Skaggs(Hilari), Carol Ward(David), James Butler(Jessica), Nicole, Tyna, Bethanie, and John Harbold, Braiden, Braylee, Bentlee Castillo, Michael and Scott Cope, Jessica Dilger, Tiffany Gerster, along with many great nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 from 10:00am-1:00pm at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Burial will follow at Sodom Cemetery.
