Ruby Nancy Clements

Ruby Nancy Clements, 92, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2026, at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany, Indiana.

Ruby was born on August 9, 1934, in Lilly, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Charlie and Allie Cochran.

Ruby was a dedicated and hardworking woman who worked as a custodian for many years. She took great pride in her work and was known for her strong work ethic and commitment to doing her best.

Ruby was a faithful member of Solid Rock Christian Church in Scottsburg, Indiana. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she enjoyed spending time reading her Bible. She also enjoyed working crossword puzzles and, most of all, spending precious time with her family.In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Clements; son, Robert Daily Sr. ; sister, Joyce Lanhan; brothers, Roy and John Cochran; grandchildren, Jessica Daily, Robert "Bob" Daily Jr.. She is survived by her daughter, Judy Newman(Roy); sisters, Violet Jones, Paulene Cope; brother, Dewey Cochran; three grandchildren, Rebecca Daily, Josh Newman, Amanda Daily; along with 7 great grandchildren and 5 great- great grandchildren.There will be a visitation held on Friday, September 4, 2026 from 10-1pm with service to follow at Collins Funeral Home. Burial will be at Mountain Grove in Henryville, Indiana.
