Rudy D. Roberto

Rudy D. Roberto, 58, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away peacefully at his home on July 29, 2026.

Born on August 6, 1967 in Manila, Philippines, Rudy was the beloved son of Dr. Benjamin Roberto and Gregoria Roberto. At a young age, his family moved to Indiana, where he built a life marked by dedication, creativity, and kindness.

Rudy graduated from Scottsburg High School in 1985 and went on to earn his degree from Indiana University Bloomington. He devoted more than 30 years of his career to CMO Graphics, where he served as a respected Project Manager. His strong work ethic, leadership, and commitment to excellence earned the admiration of his colleagues and friends.

Outside of his professional life, Rudy was a man of many talents and passions. He was an exceptionally gifted comic book artist whose creativity brought joy and inspiration to those around him. During his high school years, he showcased his musical talent as a drummer in the school band, a passion for music that remained with him throughout his life.

Rudy was also a devoted Chicago sports fan, proudly cheering on his favorite teams, especially the Chicago Blackhawks and the Chicago Bears. He loved following their games and sharing his enthusiasm with family and friends. He was also an avid tennis player and golfer, and he cherished the friendships, laughter (oh the laughter!), and memories that came from time spent on the course.Rudy will be especially remembered for his incredible sense of humor. He had a quick wit, a playful spirit, and a remarkable ability to make everyone laugh. Family gatherings were never complete without his jokes, funny stories, and perfectly timed one-liners that had everyone laughing. He brought joy wherever he went, and his laughter and gift for making others laugh will be remembered and cherished by all who knew and loved him. Above all else, Rudy treasured his family. He found his greatest happiness in spending time with those he loved, creating lasting memories through laughter, conversation, and shared experiences. Rudy is survived by his loving siblings; Jane Roberto of Chicago, IL, Debbie Nickless(Randy) of Floyds Knobs, IN, Lisa Henn(Chris) of Indianapolis, IN, Benjamin Roberto Jr. of Lisle,IL; along with 3 nephews, Justin, Cameron, Brendan Nickless and many cousins and extended family.

Cremation was chosen and entrusted with Collins Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at Champions Pointe Golf Club in Henryville, IN on Saturday, September 19 2:00-6:00EST.
