Sammy L. Ridener, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on June 18, 1953, in Corbin, Kentucky, Sam spent much of his life dedicated to his family, his work, and his community. Residing in Austin, Indiana, he was a laborer, proudly serving the construction industry with Force Construction until his retirement.
Sam's commitment to his community extended beyond his work. A proud member of the Laborers Union, he embraced the spirit of hard work and community building.

Above all, Sam cherished his time spent with his loved ones, demonstrating daily acts of kindness and love.
He leaves behind his devoted wife Linda Ridener, his step-son, Greg Richey, his brother Don Ridener, his daughter Carol Jones and two grandchildren, who will carry forth his memory in their hearts.
