Sandra Kay "Sandy" Goodin Davis, 70 of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. She was born on March 11, 1953 in Scottsburg, Indiana, to the late Howard Goodin and Susie (Rutherford) Goodin. On October 27, 1974 in Paris Crossing, Indiana she married Charles R. Davis, who preceded her in death in 2021. Sandy graduated from Spencerian College in Louisville, Kentucky with a degree in Accounting. She was an employee of Premier Accounting in Jeffersonville, Indiana and prior to Premier she worked at Anything with Plants in Jacksonville, Florida and owned and operated a landscaping company with Charles. Sandy enjoyed golfing, bowling, gardening, and landscaping. She was preceded in death by husband; son, Joseph Jefferson Davis; and her parents. Survivors include her two brothers, Michael Goodin of Deputy, Indiana and Howard (JoAnn) Goodin of Madison, Indiana; one sister, Judy Goodin of Deputy, Indiana; sister in law, Sharla Hostetler of Naab, Indiana; nephew, Ryan Hostetler and several cousins. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM Saturday March 9, 2024 at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana with Christopher Kendall officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday March 9, 2024 from 4:00 pm until the time of service at 6:00 pm at Collins Funeral Home.
