Shannon Renee Carver, 27, of Austin, Indiana passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on June 24, 1994, in Scottsburg, Indiana, raised by her stepfather, Rickey Vest and mother, Margaret (Sprong) Vest. Shannon had an infectious smile and was loved by many. She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret; father, Ralph Vest; and brother, Timothy Vest. Survivors include her fiancé, Lawerence Goins of Austin, Indiana; son, Joshua Gibbins of Scottsburg, Indiana; two daughters, Deseray Carver and Kyliee Carver both of Austin, Indiana; brother, Damien Carver of Austin, Indiana; two sisters, Alishia Vest of Austin, Indiana and Mary Vest of Austin, Indiana; step mother, Diana Vest; four half-sisters, Tasha Carver, Jessica Grimm, Stephanie Biseri, and Reba Cartledge; and two half-brothers; Joshua Carver and Eugene Vest. Graveside services will be 10:00 am Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at New Providence Cemetery in Austin, Indiana. Memorial contributions can be made to Collins Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
