Sharon "KayKay" Stone, 73, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at her residence. She was born on November 30, 1948, in Austin, Indiana, the daughter of the late Guy W. Stone Jr. and Cora (Morris) Stone. Sharon graduated from Austin High School in 1966. She was a former employee of the U. S. Shoe Corporation and retired from Walmart, Inc. in Scottsburg. Sharon was a proud member of Grace Covenant Church of God in Austin, Indiana. She enjoyed singing, playing the piano, listening to gospel music, reading her Bible, and spending time with those she considered her family, The Goodins, especially all of their children. Sharon used to be a singer with a local gospel group "Gospeltone Singers" and they performed all around Kentuckiana. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her sister, Joyce (Jim) Bush; her special friend, Sherry Stout; and special family she loved dearly. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, September 19, 2022, at Grace Covenant Church of God in Austin, Indiana with Reverend Steve Gwaltney officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, September 19, 2022, at Grace Covenant Church of God. Interment at Scottsburg Cemetery in Scottsburg, Indiana.
