Sheri-Lee Hoard, 89, of Grove City, Ohio, previously of Lexington, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at home with her family by her side. She was born on April 27, 1932, in Highland, Indiana, the daughter of the late Otis and Janet (Chandler) Stevenson. On October 22, 1949, she married Floyd L. Hoard, who passed away on October 25, 2005. Sheri-Lee was a long-time member of Kimberlin Creek Baptist Church in Scottsburg, Indiana and resident of Scott County since 1951. She was a retired tester in Quality Control of the old Freudenburg-NOK in Scottsburg, Indiana. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Lee Rebber; three sisters, Red, Deloris, Donna and one brother, Danny. Survivors include two sons, Michael Lee (Joyce) Hoard of Grove City, Ohio and Steven Lee (Joyce) Hoard of Scottsburg, Indiana; five grandchildren, Eddie, Michelle, Amy, Lisa and Chris; and eleven great grandchildren: Jordan, Garrett, Karsyn, Katie, Brady, Jonathan, Brennan, Gavin, Emily, Landon and Bryce. Funeral Service: 11:00 am Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana with Pastor Kevin Woo officiating. Visitation: 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, January 21, 2022, and after 10:00 am Saturday at Collins Funeral Home. Interment at Bethel Cemetery in Blocher, Indiana.
