Shirley Amick, 89, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Monday, August 28, 2023, at her home with family by her side. She was born on December 19, 1933, in Scott County, Indiana, daughter of the late Harold Ruehl and Juanita (Orr) Ruehl. Shirley was married to Wilbur Walker Amick, who passed away on September 30, 1998. She retired from the old Welfare Department out of Scottsburg, Indiana as a payroll clerk. In addition to her parents and husband, Wilbur, Shirley is preceded in death by her sister, Judy Patton. Survivors include son, Walker Ed (Connie) Amick of Scottsburg, Indiana; daughter, Lisa (Jimmy) Morgan of Scottsburg, Indiana; two grandchildren, Jonathan (Natalie Nicholas) Morgan and Sarah (Jason) Morgan; one great grandchild, Madeline Morgan.
